Sustainable merch

Small changes, worn with pride

We want Open SU merchandise to feel as good to wear as it does to buy. That means thinking carefully about the materials we choose, who we work with to make and deliver each product, and being upfront about where we're still improving — rather than making claims we can't stand behind.

Made with care

Where possible, we choose recycled and organic materials for our range — including our organic cotton hoodie, and accessories like our recycled stainless steel bottle and recycled notebook. We're always looking at where we can make more sustainable swaps across the collection as it grows.

Who we work with

Open SU merchandise is produced and fulfilled through Streamline, our merchandise partner. Streamline holds an EcoVadis gold rating, placing them in the top 5% of businesses assessed globally for sustainability and ethical practice, and works with Sedex to ensure their supply chain is managed responsibly and transparently.

Ethically sourced

Our supply chain is independently audited through Sedex, covering sustainability, labour standards, and transparency.

Carbon-conscious delivery

Orders are delivered through DPD's carbon neutral delivery service.

Working towards net zero

Streamline is targeting a 70% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, and net zero by 2040.

We're always learning. Sustainability isn't a box we've ticked — it's something we keep working at as the range grows. If you have questions about a specific product's materials, get in touch and we'll do our best to answer honestly.
