Accessibility statement
Accessibility statement for the Open SU Store
This accessibility statement applies to oustudents.shop.
This website is run by Open SU: the Open University Students Union. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using a keyboard alone
- navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader
We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
How accessible this website is
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible yet. We are actively working to improve this. Known limitations at the time of publication include:
- Some product images may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text — we are reviewing these as inventory is confirmed
- The checkout process has not yet been fully audited for accessibility
- A full keyboard navigation test is planned before go-live
